Grandey’s Specialist in Celebrated Silver Swan Restoration

Seth Kennedy, our antiquarian horologist, has been involved in an exciting project to restore The Bowes Museum’s celebrated 18th century clockwork Silver Swan automaton, after its fragile mechanisms broke down during lockdown. Seth, who was also recently made a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers (an ancient City of London guild upholding excellence in horology) described working on the silver swan project as a real privilege.
